Over the summer, Tennyson Mawema took on the worst patch of grass at Five Mile Drive, the bit that gets churned up every season. He reseeded it himself, on his own time, with no fuss made about it.
It is coming through green now, ready for the new season. Five Mile Drive is one of the grounds that keeps all 63 of our teams playing week in, week out, and work like this is why the pitches hold up. Thank you, Tennyson, from all of us.
