Club chair excited for his team's first away match

Our under-11s played their first away game of the season this weekend, travelling to Marcham. It was a good day out for everyone involved.

Marcham were fantastic hosts. The pitches were ready, the welcome was warm, and both sets of players showed a strong fair play attitude throughout.

Our club chair was especially pleased that the two clubs took time afterwards to share coaching ideas. That sort of exchange between grassroots clubs matters, and we hope it's the first of many fixtures against Marcham.
